World of ideas is the creative space, the etheric, metamorphical, flux nature of nature in Paula's expression. The observer can meet emotion, landscape, thought, shape, colour, surface, depth, shadow and light and inquiry. Observer can recognize idea, themself, and themself as creator, as artist.
“Immersed in a project, collaborating to create what's possible when joining together, fully involved in language beyond words, engaging with audience, making a difference.”
Paula grew up in Vancouver, Canada, daughter of a Japanese father and Dutch mother. Informed by aesthetics, genetics, no conversations of displacement, cultural backgrounds, mixed race, histories, stories. Thus searching, wondering asking and creating, a constant thread is found among the many developments.
She graduated from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia and spends time between Canada and Europe developing her art business.
